Includes a photograph of Canada's Parliament Buildings, Ottawa, that would be destroyed by fire in 1917.

Mary Livingstone King, daughter of American SenatorJohn P. King, later married Henry Paget and became Marchioness ofAnglesey. Jessie McDougall was a Ottawa socialite-daughter of One of theFathers of Confederation, William McDougall. General Earle, a prominentCrimean War veteran, was killed in the Sudan in 1885. A unique Ottawa item.
