T.P.L. 3200. Gagnon I.813. Sabin 6766 (1851? edition). Prepared by an anonymous editor at the request of the City Council of Boston. An account of the pageant and other celebrations in Boston on the completion of the Boston-Montreal Railway lines. Lord Elgin and Joseph Howe spoke for Canada. The appendix contains supporting documents relating to the celebration, the city of Boston and trade with Canada. The map is "A skeleton map of Rail-Roads between Cape Canso and St. Louis, compiled under the direction of the Committee appointed by the City of Council of Boston for celebrating the opening of Railway communication between the Atlantic at Boston, the Canadas and the Great West, Sept. 17th, 1851. By E.S. Chesborough, City Engineer."
